Calling all budding artists in grades 1–3! At GrowFit San Jose’s Art Camp, campers dive into hands-on projects like painting, clay sculpting, leaf prints, and mixed media each morning, building creativity and confidence as they explore new techniques. In the afternoon, the fun continues with our energetic All-Sports Camp from 12 PM to 4, creating a full day of movement and imagination. Age-Appropriate Focus: Our Art Camp is thoughtfully designed for kids in grades 1-3, ensuring that all projects and activities are perfectly tailored to their developmental stage. Art is more than just creativity—it enhances problem-solving skills, fine motor development, and self-expression, all while fostering collaboration and confidence. Campers will explore age-appropriate projects that inspire imagination, learning, and growth.

Art Activities: Each morning at our San Jose Art Camp brings a fresh creative adventure! Campers begin with a quick introduction and guided project to spark ideas before diving into their own unique creations. They’ll explore painting, sculpt with clay, and craft mixed media art using materials like fabric, beads, and paper. They’ll also experiment with photography, capturing their artwork and daily discoveries. It’s all about inspiring creativity, building confidence, and having fun in a supportive space before transitioning into an active afternoon of All-Sports.
Breaks: We include regular movement and relaxation breaks throughout the morning to keep campers energized, focused, and ready for their next artistic challenge.
Afternoon All-Sports Fun: After lunch, campers head into our high-energy All-Sports Camp, enjoying games, teamwork activities, and movement-based fun to round out a full and balanced day.
End-of-Day Recognition: Each day concludes with a group celebration of campers’ creativity and effort. Positive encouragement from counselors and peers ensures a rewarding and memorable end to a full day of art and activity.

We have absolutely loved having our 8 year old son go to the growfit camp at the Plex during the school breaks! The camp is very organized and fun for the kids. My son enjoyed going everyday and even asked to go on days I hadn't signed him up. They keep them very active with soccer, indoor rock climbing, jump house, flag football, tag, and kickball. He enjoyed the camp counselors and was so excited to challenge himself to learn a dance and earn a popsickle! These camps are great during the school breaks. I'm so glad this is available and makes our son happy to go every day.
Growfit is great for kids to be active while having lots of fun. The coaches all are kind, listens, communicates and are very welcoming. My son loves the bouncy house, rock climbing and the end of the day frozen treat. He looks forward to going every day. It's very easy to sign up weekly or daily last minute.
My daughter has been going to the GrowFit camps for 3 years. She loves the coaches and all the different activities especially the jump houses, skating, and basketball. She has made a lot of friends at the camps and even helps out with the little kids now. It’s great how the camp sends photos and how easy it is to sign up by week or by each day.
My son had a great time at this camp! He said it was his favorite summer camp that he’s been to. He was able to do and try so many different things- bounce houses, roller hockey, rock wall climbing, dodge ball, kickball, musical chairs, and all kinds of other fun games! The counselors were amazing, and it was clear they were invested in the kids. They knew my son after the first day, and myself as well. I wish I’d had him try it earlier in the summer because I would have added additional weeks. We’ll definitely be back for camp here next year! Thank you to everyone at the GrowFit camp. You all did an amazing job and my son had a blast!
Our 6 year old has attended GrowFit a few times so far, and he thoroughly enjoys it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our son talks about all the different sports and activities he was involved in during the day, and the new friends he's made. We're glad he's in a safe place where he's learning new things and being active rather than sitting all day. We appreciate the early drop off and late pickup option as well. Recommend everyone let their kid try it out at least once!
