Young creators in grades 1–3 are invited to jump into a world of innovation at GrowFit’s Inventor’s Lab in San Jose! Each morning, campers tackle hands-on challenges that encourage them to design, build, test, and rethink their ideas. Through guided activities and plenty of creative freedom, they develop problem-solving skills, confidence, and teamwork as their inventions take shape. After noon, campers continue the fun in our action-packed All-Sports Camp from 12 PM to 4 PM. At week’s end, they showcase their projects to fellow campers—celebrating a week filled with creativity, discovery, and big ideas. Designed for Young Innovators: GrowFit’s Inventor’s Lab in San Jose is built especially for curious kids in grades 1–3, offering hands-on challenges tailored to their age and abilities. Campers jump into guided prompts that help them brainstorm, plan, and begin building their ideas. They’ll sketch concepts, create prototypes, and troubleshoot their designs as they explore different solutions. From constructing simple devices to enhancing their final builds, each activity strengthens confidence and inspires a genuine love for inventing in a supportive, encouraging setting.
Recharge & Reset: To keep young minds sharp and engaged, we include frequent movement and stretch breaks throughout the morning. These quick reset moments help campers stay energized and ready to tackle their next round of creative problem-solving.
Afternoon All-Sports Adventure: After lunch, campers shift into our high-energy All-Sports Camp, enjoying fast-paced games, team challenges, and active play. This afternoon session adds variety, excitement, and plenty of movement—creating the perfect balance to the hands-on Inventor’s Lab morning.
End-of-Day Highlights: Each afternoon ends with a group gathering where campers share what they built, what they tested, and what they discovered. Celebrating creative wins—big and small—with friends and coaches brings an uplifting finish to a day full of imagination and activity.

We have absolutely loved having our 8 year old son go to the growfit camp at the Plex during the school breaks! The camp is very organized and fun for the kids. My son enjoyed going everyday and even asked to go on days I hadn't signed him up. They keep them very active with soccer, indoor rock climbing, jump house, flag football, tag, and kickball. He enjoyed the camp counselors and was so excited to challenge himself to learn a dance and earn a popsickle! These camps are great during the school breaks. I'm so glad this is available and makes our son happy to go every day.
Growfit is great for kids to be active while having lots of fun. The coaches all are kind, listens, communicates and are very welcoming. My son loves the bouncy house, rock climbing and the end of the day frozen treat. He looks forward to going every day. It's very easy to sign up weekly or daily last minute.
My daughter has been going to the GrowFit camps for 3 years. She loves the coaches and all the different activities especially the jump houses, skating, and basketball. She has made a lot of friends at the camps and even helps out with the little kids now. It’s great how the camp sends photos and how easy it is to sign up by week or by each day.
My son had a great time at this camp! He said it was his favorite summer camp that he’s been to. He was able to do and try so many different things- bounce houses, roller hockey, rock wall climbing, dodge ball, kickball, musical chairs, and all kinds of other fun games! The counselors were amazing, and it was clear they were invested in the kids. They knew my son after the first day, and myself as well. I wish I’d had him try it earlier in the summer because I would have added additional weeks. We’ll definitely be back for camp here next year! Thank you to everyone at the GrowFit camp. You all did an amazing job and my son had a blast!
Our 6 year old has attended GrowFit a few times so far, and he thoroughly enjoys it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our son talks about all the different sports and activities he was involved in during the day, and the new friends he's made. We're glad he's in a safe place where he's learning new things and being active rather than sitting all day. We appreciate the early drop off and late pickup option as well. Recommend everyone let their kid try it out at least once!
